Kakoni

Kakoni is situated about 85 Km. from Baran in Chhipabarod Tehsil. It is surrounded by mountains and is on the bank of Parwan river. Kakoni temples were built in 8th century. Some remains of the 'Vaishnav', 'Shiv' and 'Jain' temples can be seen here. Some statues from Kakoni temples are kept in the Museums at Kota and Jhalawar districts.
